Attorney Advocate, Gia Gaster

Before returning to school in 2012, Attorney Advocate, Gia Gaster drove a school bus for children with special needs in Guilford County. She has had a life long commitment to serving her community.
Gia attended Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, earning a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, in Peace and Conflict Studies, and Community Building. She focused her studies on mediation, conflict resolution, pre-law, religious studies and community building. After graduating in 2016, Gia attended the Elon University School of Law, also In Greensboro, NC. While at Elon Law, Gia worked full-time in the Elon Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic for a full trimester. She also focused on Immigration studies, Family law and Health law. She earned her J.D. in December, 2018 in the top half of her class, and passed the North Carolina Bar Exam in February, 2019.
After swearing into the North Carolina State Bar, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, Gia has been doing misdemeanor Criminal Work, simple/uncontested divorces, name changes, drafting wills, power of attorneys, and special needs trusts. And, Gia recently signed up to become a Guardian Ad Litem for Guilford County. Before opening her own practice, Gia did personal injury work for a law firm in Greensboro, NC, and immigration work for a nonprofit.
Gia is compassionate, fair, and nonjudgmental; she is driven, and always gives 100% in everything she tackles.
During her free time, Gia enjoys music, hanging out with her family and friends, barbecuing, and bourbon tastings.
